Ristr8to won 6th place in the world at WLAC 2011 in Maastricht, Netherlands. Twenty five days after opening the first Ristr8to, right in the middle of one of the busiest time of his life, this 2011 World Latte Art Championship is the first world-class competition for Arnon Thitiprasert: founder of Ristr8to, after been and won some competitions around Australia and Thailand for a year. He represented Thailand in 2011 World Latte Art Championship competing with more than 40 champions from around the world in Maastricht, Netherlands. Although he has only 4 hours practicing before taking off to Maastricht and only 1 year competing experience, he was able to make it to the final round and won 6th place in the world and marked the second finalist for any category of world competition for Thailand history that year.

The good thing we have learn in this competition is that the competition is bringing all passionate Barista around the world together. In order to take part you need to be your national champion for your country which I wasn't on that time but thank to the support from Thailand Coffee Association who saw my potential and worked hard to sign me up in this competition to see what is the standard of the world competition and a big bonus of winning 6th place in the world. Specially thanks to Ryan Tan champion from Singapore, my new friend who have fought for both of us until we have got what we deserved.
